Think about opening up an eBay store. The basic store on eBay is fairly cheap to open and you can list individual items in your store for 3 to 5 cents per month (on top of the store subscription fee) indefinitely. This is dirt cheap and especially cost effective for items under ten dollars and hard to sell items.
You will have to learn eBay math. eBay math is tricky (and constantly changing) and it can be more costly to list in one format than another. Furthermore, items that fit into multiple categories can cost more to list in one category than another so you really need to do your research. Map out your financial strategy ahead of time.
